Inbound Scale Construction Notice

Starting Monday, April 8, there will be ongoing construction on the inbound scale at Parr Road Green Depot that may result in longer wait times. The existing scale is at the end of its life and will be replaced with a longer (40’) scale that will be better able to accommodate customers with trailers. The anticipated duration of construction is three weeks.

Our team is working diligently to minimize the impact on operations, but we expect that there may be delays in the usual service times. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding. Please consider the Bailey Sanitary Landfill as an alternative for disposing green waste during this time.

Earth Day Discount - Monday, April 22

On Monday, April 22 BioCentral is offering a 40% discount on all bagged products (compost, topsoil, and mulch), and a 10% discount on bulk products (compost, topsoil, and mulch).

Disposing of Large Diameter Clean Wood and Yard Waste Pieces Greater than 360 mm in Diameter?

The Parr Road Green Depot accepts clean wood and yard waste pieces such as stumps, logs, log cut offs, firewood, and large diameter tree trimmings that are greater than 360 mm in diameter. 1. Screened compost - Yard waste-based compost

Rich in organic matter and nutrients.
Ideal to mix with your existing soil for further planting.

2. Garden blend - 75% compost + 25% sand

Perfect for planting flowers, vegetables, and plants in general.
The sand gives good drainage whereas the compost adds all the nutrients for your plants.
Wood chunks allow roots to go through the voids, enhance drainage and adds organic matter once it breaks down.

3. Turf blend - 50% compost + 50% sand

The best product for lawn, even if you are repairing or seeding.

4. Lawn top dressing - Double screened 50/50 compost-sand mix

Our sessional product perfect for finish your lawn.

5. Aged mulch

This composted bark mulch is full of benefits for your garden; prevents weed germination, conserves water in flower and garden beds, insulates soil beneath the mulch, reduces soil erosion from wind and water, and is aesthetically pleasing.

6. Bright bark mulch

100% natural ground up bark SPF (Spruce, Pine, and Fir).
Ideal to suppress weed germination and growth, and protect roots from frost and heat.
You can find this product in two sizes; fine 1’’minus, and chunky 3-4’’.
