The City of Chilliwack (City) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EIs) from qualified Proponents for the “Operation of the Bailey Sanitary Landfill, Compostable Waste Transfer Station, and Parr Road Green Depot” (the “Project”) for a period of five (5) years from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2023. Subject to City Council approval, the Agreement may be extended for up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms. The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is to solicit submissions from Proponents with expertise in operating similar types of solid waste facilities. The Parr Road Green Depot operation is a provisional component, which the City may opt to remove from the scope of work prior to finalizing the Agreement.
