InterAction, an exhibit presented by Heinz and Lois Klassen, a husband and wife team, who work together to each express their individual chosen medium. Heinz's works includes drawing objects which express his unique vision of the world around him. Lois’s quilts are designed to be hung on a wall, and appreciated as one would view a painting.

Chilliwack Moves - A Run for Prevention is dedicated to raising awareness about preventative health by having local health and wellness experts available after the run to provide free products and information. The run itself will be a 5km and an 8km route located at one of Chilliwack's most spectacular outdoor settings, the Chilliwack Rotary Trail.

All net-proceeds will be donated to the Chilliwack Park Society.

Maestro Bramwell Tovey and the full Vancouver Symphony Orchestra make their performance debut at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, in an exciting program featuring Tchaikovsky’s monumental Symphony No. 5, Rossini’s famous William Tell Overture, and a brand new piece written by Maestro Tovey for, and in collaboration with Marion Newman, an accomplished mezzo-soprano with Kwagiuth and Sto:lo First Nations roots. The students in Early Childhood Education at the University of the Fraser Valley have teamed up with Sardis Library and invite you to come and explore creative and innovative instruments using recycled material. SUCCESSFUL AGEING presented by Lisa Shearer – Registered Nurse and Sandra Owens – Physiotherapist – Chilliwack Home Health. This session will focus on various topics to help seniors, their family and care providers learn what they can do to maintain their health and what resources are available in this community to help people live at home. Join the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra for their season opener, MAGICAL NIGHT, on October 14 at First Ave. Assembly (46510 First Ave., Chilliwack) as they team up with the world-class Canadian piano and violin duo, “Roy and Rosemary” at 7:30 p.m. Known for their versatility and passionate, rich sound, Roy Tan and Rosemary Siemens have performed internationally, including concerts at St. Peter’s Basilica and Carnegie Hall. They are well known for engaging their audiences by taking requests and improvising on the spot. The Chilliwack Children’s Chorus will join them in an arrangement of Leonard Cohen’s beloved Hallelujah. 1:30 pm – 3 pm. Don’t know how to use those face paints you bought? Want to practice on your face or your friends’ faces BEFORE Halloween? Come join us for a FACE PAINT FRENZY and make use of Chilliwack Library’s face paint supplies and YouTube tutorials. Snacks will be provided. Recommended for ages 9–18.

The Robertson Annual Fall Fair will have around 40 tables of wonderful gifts ideas, including local vendors selling hand made or home grown products! There will be lots of door prizes from our vendors as well! We will have a BBQ concession on site, selling hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks! And last but not least, we will be having a Cake & Goodies Raffle (Cake Walk) with tons of goodies made by our Grade 5 & 6 parents!! Chilliwack Connect is a one day event designed to love on the homeless and low income individuals and families in our community. It is a day of pampering including free hair washing & cuts, foot care, free clothing, free breakfast & lunch and most importantly a day for our guests to make connections with the services and resources available in our community. This is a partnership of churches, community organizations and individuals coming together to make a difference in the lives of those who are facing hardship. We need your help - It is only though your generous contributions of time and resources that we are able to make this day possible.
