Ch. Harmony is a non-profit society open to the public.

This class is 100% free and available to everyone. We provide the space, teacher, mats and props. Studio B aspires to encourage community members to embrace a balanced and mindful lifestyle. Gently flow through your practice while working on poses. This class accommodates a wide range of experience levels from beginner to students that have practiced for a long period of time. The class works on a balance between strength and flexibility while building endurance and improving your breathing and posture.

This class is held every Saturday from 12-1 pm with a rotating teacher. Participants may create a profile and register online. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

It can bring a peaceful and clearer awareness while reducing stress. With the guidance of Sergiy Fadyeyev, it is easy to learn and can generate significant results quickly.

Saturdays: 10:00am - 12:30pm, September 12 - December 5, 2015, Wednesdays: 6:30pm - 9:00pm, October 9 - December 9, 2015. Adult Class: The ability to draw the human figure is an essential art form and vital to those who wish to continue to develop their observational drawing skills. The Life Drawing Open Studio is an open studio for professional and emerging artists, students, and anyone interested in drawing the human form. People work independently and at their own level of experience. While no formal instruction is provided, support and encouragement is given. A variety of male and female models with different body shapes and ages are booked for the open studio.

Adult Open Studio: Practice your glass bead making skills with the Glass Open Studio! These non-instructional sessions are designed for those who have taken one of The Centre's Glass Bead/Flameworking classes and that want to continue their glass journey! Prerequisite: Completion of one Chilliwack Cultural Centre Flamework/Glass Bead Class.

Kids' Class: Playing with costumes, hats, props, role play and improv games, this class is the perfect way for younger kids to drive right into the fun of acting, while having a ton of fun at the same time! Over 9 sessions students will learn a range of scenes, with a fantastic final class performance on the tenth session!

Adult Class: This fun class will be an opportunity for students to explore skills and techniques in acrylic painting. Topics will include a variety of techniques such as underpainting, composition, layering, light and shade, using colour and texturing. The world of colour will also be explored. Students will supply their own paints and materials at the instructor's advice. Price does not include materials.

Adult Class: This class is for beginners and intermediate artists who wish to create a variety of ceramic pieces without the use of a potters' wheel. This class will cover numerous dish making processes as well as many interesting surface techniques.

Adult Class: Wheel throwing for beginner pottery students or those wishing to continue to build their skills on the wheel. Students will be taken through the entire process from creating on the wheel to finishing off their work through glazing and firing. This is an eight week course, with seven weeks of wheel work and one of glazing.

Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association's newest fundraising initiative is "The Longest Running 50/50" which will run from November 6, 2015 to December 31, 2015. Tickets are 10 tickets for $10.00 or 30 tickets for $20.00. The funds raised will be used to expand our program in the schools and help at risk youth in the community. With each purchased ticket you have a chance to win 50% of the money raised. The winning ticket will be drawn at noon on December 31, 2015 at Cottonwood Mall. Festive Cranberry Orange Marmalade. Just in time for your Christmas feasts! Join Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Cynthia Watson and learn how to prepare and preserve Cranberry Orange Marmalade. This versatile preserve can be whisked into dressings, added to marinades, served with cheese, swirled into oatmeal or yogurt, or baked as a glaze. Each student will take one jar home. Half hour beginner lesson followed by several hours of contra dancing; snacks and drinks included (no alcohol). Never danced before? Chilliwack Barn Dancing is definitely the place to begin.
