Wire Coiling Workshop Date: July 2nd and 9th, 2014 Instructor: Alicia Champ. Ages: 13-Adult. Time: 7:00-9:00pm. This workshop will take you through the first stages of coiling, turning the coil into a bead, using it to construct a decorative effect and then using it to construct a complete piece of jewelry. This is a project that instructor, Alicia Champ, has designed for “Step by Step Wire Magazines” June/July 2014 issue. Cold Process Soap Making -  Thursday July 31, 6:30-9:00pm. Instructor: Patti Lawn. Learn the basics of making cold-process soap (Lye Soap/ Vegetable based) from scratch. Students will learn about the process, tools and ingredients including lye, fixed oils, fragrance oils, essential oils, micas, oxides, and natural colorants. Then join your instructor, Patti, around the soap pot to make a batch of soap. This class is approximately 2.5 hours long and students will take home at least 2 bars of colorful, handmade soap made at the class, as well as an information booklet.
