| Description: An unexpected journey through cancer delivered some equally unexpected gifts for John Mann, actor, singer, and songwriter for the renowned Canadian rock-folk band Spirit of the West. With his new acoustic album ‘The Waiting Room’, John is taking listeners on an emotional rollercoaster of realization and recovery that exposes the tender side of this long-standing icon of Canadian rock and folk music. In An Intimate Evening with John Mann, John shares the wisdom and music that arose from not only his battle with cancer but also his long-hidden and recently announced struggle with Alzheimer’s. He discusses these life-changing experiences with inspirational honesty and whimsy in the intimate space of the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre, affirming that any challenge can be overcome with determination, passion, and acceptance.
