| Description: Canadian Championship level Slalom kayaking races hosted by the Chilliwack Centre of Excellence Paddling Club. Come watch the best kayakers in Canada as they race the clock, avoid rocks, and negotiate the gates amidst the challenging whitewater of the Chilliwack River in our own world-class Tamihi Rapids Recreation Site. Be amazed at the bravery and talent of athletes, some as young as 12, as they compete with Olympic level kayakers for top spots in Whitewater Slalom. Local paddlers included! The CCE invites the public to come watch, cheer, and be a part of these kayaking National Championships! |
