Yale Road Multi-Use Pathway
The 170m of multi-use pathway will be built on the west side of Yale Road and will finish a key pedestrian connection between Sardis and Chilliwack Proper. It will be protected by a boulevard to increase safety for road users including pedestrians and cyclists.
This project also includes:
- concrete curb
- a boulevard with street trees
- streetlight relocations
- signage
- road markings
The project work has been awarded to Marex Constructors and they are scheduled to begin works in July and finish the project in early fall.
Much of the work will occur on the shoulder, but in rare occurrences lane closures may be required to safely complete works. We thank you for your patience while this critical project is completed.
